How she works

One chair, one barber. That means I have time to talk to you before the clippers come out, and time to finish the detail work at the end instead of waving in the next person. Every haircut ends with a shampoo so the loose hair goes down the drain and not down your collar.

It is also why booking runs through a phone call right now. You get a real answer about timing, and I get to ask the questions that make the cut come out right.

Movie Star Cuts is an independently owned barbershop. The other barbers keep their own clientele and are not part of this mission — that is why the seal reads One Chair… One Mission.

The mission side

Haircuts for Heroes is a mission supporting Heroes Recovery Foundation, Inc., a start-up nonprofit for veterans. The point is twofold: spread awareness of the organization, and raise the funds that will help get it off the ground.

Veterans, active military and first responders receive a discount with valid ID verification. First-time clients and back-to-school cuts get $5 off.
