One chair, one mission
Haircuts for Heroes is a mission supporting Heroes Recovery Foundation, Inc. — a start-up nonprofit for veterans. Every cut in this chair helps spread awareness of the foundation and raise the funds needed to launch it.
She started it simply: one barber, one chair, and a belief that a haircut is a door. Someone sits down, talks, and walks out standing a little straighter. That is the same idea the foundation is built on.
“Movie Star Cuts is an independently owned barbershop. The other barbers keep their own clientele and are not part of this mission — that is why the seal reads One Chair… One Mission.”
From the depths of nothing, we rise. That line sits under the foundation’s mark for a reason — recovery is slow, unglamorous work, and it goes better with people around you.
